I paint people.
Who am I? To what extent am I me? How do people perceive who they are?
Not only with clothing, but choosing, not choosing, and being chosen; this will eventually become “me”. Whether I choose it or not.
The clothes taken off are the traces of someone’s choice, someone’s cast-off skin, and the person themself. I paint people.

The subject she depicts is always human; although recently, items of clothing and accessories are chosen, these make us perceive the existence or traces of humans, and imagine not only the invisible person but also their actions and reasons. Her firm touch seems to trace the actions of humans, and the tactile paint and thin substrate evokes whatever is encapsulated in what is depicted, as well as the surface. Her perspective, directing a strong focus towards the world’s events, portrays a human existence that is also someone yet also me, and not an interest towards specific people.
