Work Details
長く描き続けてきた花のモチーフは、自身の中で自然と女性的象徴となった。他国の人々や文化と触れあう内に、自国が先進国の中で、ジェンダーバイアスの部分でかなり遅れをとっている事に気付き、その問題に異議を唱える為にも、花のモチーフを使った作品を描き続ける事に意味を感じるようになっていく。それは見る人によって、具象であり、抽象であるかもしれない。自身に問いかける為に描いたものでもあり、見ていただいた方々の心の中にも、何らかの波紋が広がることを願って、描いている。
