作品のコンセプト・制作意図
食事が行われる空間にて展示するので、dishとwishをかけています。走る牛と横切る鳥をちと天で対比で描きました。
鳥には自由に生きるものというメタファーが込められています。
作品のモチーフについて
鳥は自由。牛は今を走り生きていく者という意味を込めて描きました。
時々訪れる自由と流れる時間をテーマにしています。
この作品で表現したかったこと
循環する日々を、動きのある画面で表現しました。
制作手法や使用している道具
主に油絵の具とキャンバスを使用しています。
アーティストステートメント
今展示のテーマは「人間性」です。人間性とは人が生まれつき備えている性質。人間らしさを指す言葉です。
本作のモチーフは人間ではなく、人間と関わりのある生き物たちです。犬や牛、植物など、ペットや観賞用、食用、日用品目的で関わりのある生き物たちを主役に、人間性というものを考えながら制作しました。
展示タイトルのてん（野天）は屋外を指す言葉です。屋根が存在するから屋外という概念が存在するように、人間がいたからこそ生まれた野性や家畜という概念について、掘り下げられる展示にしたいと考えています。
