作品のコンセプト・制作意図
浮世絵にみられる室内空間は主題である人物を引き立たせるように構成された空間と捉えられる。
脇役ではあるがその室内空間だけを取り出し、主題の人物と関係を逆転させてみても面白いのではないか。
今作では源氏物語から着想を得て、絵巻などにみられる室内空間を題材にしている。
