リュウ・ジャンファ（劉建華）｜Liu Jianhua

陶窯地として有名な景徳鎮で陶磁器の仕事を始め、東洋最大の陶磁器大学である景徳鎮陶磁学院で学んだ。1989年卒業後、一貫して陶磁器を用い、悠久の歴史を持ちながらも不安定な自国の経済や社会を反映した作品を制作。

モスクワ・ビエンナーレ2007、シドニービエンナーレ2010、光州ビエンナーレ2012（韓国）や美術館やギャラリー等での発表多数、国際的に活躍する中国を代表する現代アーティストの一人。日本では2005年 「東アジアの現代美術」（東京、森美術館）2015年 「大地の芸術祭越後妻有アートトリエンナーレ」に出展したほか、十和田市現代美術館に常設の作品がある。

He started working in ceramics at Jingdezhen, a famous pottery pottery, and studied at Jingdezhen Ceramics Academy, the largest ceramic university in the Orient.

After graduating in 1989, he consistently used ceramics and created works reflecting the country's unstable economy and society with a long history. He is one of the contemporary artists representing the internationally active China, with many presentations at the Moscow Biennale 2007, Sydney Biennale 2010, Gwangju Biennale 2012 (Korea) and museums and galleries. In Japan, he exhibited at the 2005 "East Asian Contemporary Art" (Tokyo, Mori Art Museum) 2015 "Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale", and has a permanent work at the Towada Art Museum.
