Biography
東京銀器の祖、初代平田禅之丞から11代にわたり技を継承し、父である上川宗照は現代の名工・伝統工芸士・黄綬褒章作家として活動中。1998年上川宗照に師事、2002年に重要無形文化財保持者（人間国宝）である奥山峰石氏に師事修行。 2011年経済産業大臣指定伝統的工芸品東京銀器伝統工芸士認定。 伝統技術を研鑽し国内外から純銀製茶器の注文と注目が集まる。
