ボロ家に住んでいた時のこと

電灯から吊り下がる紐に更に紐をつけて寝ていても消せるようにした。
テレビがダイヤル式だったので、いちいちチャンネルを変えるのが面倒でダイヤルに毛糸をつけて引っ張っていた。

画家、美術作家

むかし自分の家は薄いガラスの入った引き戸で、鍵はネジみたいに巻きながら押し込むもの。
ダイヤル式の黒電話にぼっとんトイレだった。
お風呂はダイヤルを回すと着火するやつだったけれど、壊れていたので芯にチャッカマンで火をつけて沸かしていた…。
屋根はトタンだったので雨が降るとすごい音で、台風の時なんかはこたつの中に隠れたりしていた。
