韓国、ソウル生まれ。ソウル国民大学美術学部彫刻科卒業、東京藝術大学美術研究科グローバルアートプラクティス専攻修士課程修了。独自の視点で、人の身体や他者との関わりをテーマに作品を制作している。自身を取り巻く社会問題を作品制作の出発点とし、ダイナミックな彫刻を主な表現媒体としながら、ドローイング、ビデオ、インスタレーションなど多岐に活動している。
