Hiroki Satoh creates and exhibits works that focus on the theme of the “Being of things,” with architecture as his primary motif.
By juxtaposing traditional Japanese painting materials with contemporary acrylics, he achieves a distinctive texture that evokes the passage of time and the transience of objects.
His works are marked by a simple, minimal composition, in which the presence of the subject is accentuated within the surrounding negative space, offering viewers a quiet and profound experience.
