インゲス・イデーは、1992年にハンス・ハマート、アクセル・リーバー、トマス・A・シュミット、ゲオルグ・ツァイの4人のアーティストが公共空間のアート・プロジェクトで協同した際にベルリン（ドイツ）で結成したユニット。

Biography
グループでの活動とともに、個々の芸術実践も積極的に行っている。パブリックアート作品を《Sounds》（モーンハイム・アム・ライン、ドイツ、2019）、《Travelling Light》（カルガリー、カナダ、2013）など世界各地に設置。また彼らの作品《Undeveloped Playground》は「ミュンスター彫刻ビエンナーレ2000」（エムスデッテン、ドイツ、2001）で展示された。
