I am mostly taking photos of nature landscapes on 35 mm film in Japan. I like to express the aesthetic of traditional Japanese painting style with photography.

35mmフィルムを使って、主に風景やネイチャーフォトを撮っています。フィルムをスキャンして、デジタルに変換しています。組写真での構成のみならず、単写真でも、額装するとインテリアとして引き立つような構図作りを意識しています。伝統的な日本絵画である琳派の要素を、写真で表現することに挑戦しています。

I am mostly taking photos of nature landscapes on 35 mm film in Japan. I scan the films and convert them into digital. I intend to produce such single photos which are fit into picture frames beautifully, not only compositions of photos. I like to express the aesthetic of Rinpa's style, traditional Japanese painting style with photography.
