林志勳 Lin Jhih-syun

Drawing from the rich imagination of ancient Chinese mythology in “The Classic of Mountains and Seas”, Lin Jhih-syun’s artworks uses traditional techniques to create a blend of classical and science-fiction atmospheres. It reinterprets the vivid imagination of our ancestors, portraying a splendid and mysterious realm for the mythical creatures and divine beings within the ancient text.

1994 Born in Yilan, Taiwan. Graduated from the Painting and Calligraphy Department of Chang Jung Christian University and the Master Program of Fine Arts at Chang Jung Christian University. Awarded Merit Award in the Eastern Media category at “2017 Tainan Fine Arts Exhibition”, Judges' Award of "Tainan Fine Arts Association 62nd Anniversary Exhibition" in the Chinese Painting category, Merit Award of "2016 Yilan Art Awards", Judges' Award of " 2015 Tainan Fine Arts Exhibition”. His first solo exhibition held in October 2024 at Joyful Art Gallery in Taipei.
