Artist
Art Tavera (b. 1988) is an artist born in Indonesia whose practice draws from the immediacy of graffiti and the depth of abstract painting, where gesture, layering, and shifting states come together in a balance between structure and improvisation. His works unfold through raw strokes that take shape as compositions which remain unsettled, conveying movement, friction, and the impermanence of form.

バイオグラフィー
His practice has extended to international graffiti contexts, with a feature in Graffiti Asia (2010), a book documenting the movement across the region. Public projects include a mural for the Manila Biennale (2018), BGC’s Art Mural (2015), and RSCL’s cultural exchange Solidarity21 in Singapore (2013) and Indonesia (2014). His work has since been presented in solo and group exhibitions across Manila.
