I drew the bumps in the granite I picked up by likening them to a rocky mountain landscape.
I grew up deep in the mountains.
When I was looking at the scenery of mountains and rice paddies, I quickly went inside from the surface, and I felt that I was expanding all over the scenery I was looking at. I was excited to see the woods and valleys over there from the top of the big rock. However, when I was in elementary school, I moved to a town full of buildings and guardrails, and soon I couldn't get into the scenery. Those surfaces bounce me back. I felt like I was cut off from the world.
I wanted to somehow connect to my surroundings, so I'm drawing while checking the texture of the surface of the landscape that I couldn't enter.

Creating works inspired by stones, mountains, and quarries, I explore the theme of engaging with landscapes. My art features paintings dominated by pink and green tones, as well as three-dimensional forms crafted from acrylic clay. I actively participate in solo exhibitions, group shows, and art markets.
