This painting was painted during late spring, early summer and I wanted everything about it to be celebratory. The landscape where I live is so soft and gentle and I wanted that reflected in the colour scheme. Sunset here is always magical.
この作品は晩春から初夏にかけて制作し、隅々まで祝祭的な印象づくりをしました。イメージの中心となった私が住んでいる地域の風景はとても柔らかく優しく、それを色調に反映させています。ここの夕焼けはいつも幻想的です。
