対話、発掘、本を読み進めていく、様々な感覚と絵を描く行為とすり合わせながら絵を描いています。それらと同時に、日常生活で受けてきた影響と画面に表出する図像との関わり方を模索しながら、自分を補完するために作品を作っています。

I create paintings through aligning various sensations such as dialogue, excavation and reading books, with the act of painting.At the same time, I create art to supplement myself, exploring what my involvement is with the influences of daily life and the images that appear on the screen.

幼少期の頃誰もが経験したであろう白い画用紙いっぱいに架空の物語や迷路を描きそこから溢れ出て家の襖や床へと続く落書き。高戸はそれらの延長線上で今でも描き続けている画家である。作品には時間軸や空間も違う世界が一つの画面の中に集約され、複数枚絵画が展示されたときには彼女の妄想的物語に圧倒される。

The doodles that fill up white drawing paper with fictional stories and mazes, which then flow out onto the walls and floor of the house – an experience everyone must have had in their childhood; Takado is a painter who continues to paint as an extension of this action. Inside her work gathers worlds of different timelines and spaces, and we become overwhelmed by her fantasy-like stories as multiple paintings are exhibited together.
