チャイコフスキーの歌劇「エフゲニー・オネーギン」。
「白鳥の湖」と同じ年に完成したこの作品は、彼の全10作のオペラの中では最も頻繁に上演される。
その中から、レンスキーのアリア「青春は遠く過ぎ去り」を抽象的に表現。
元親友と決闘を迎えるレンスキーが、人生への未練と婚約者への愛を切なく歌う、複雑な想いを描いている。

“Eugene Onegin” is the opera composed by Tchaikovsky.
This is the most frequently performed opera among his total ten master pieces.
One scene of this Lensky's Aria is depicted as an abstract expression.
It depicts the complex feelings of Lensky, who faces a duel with his best friend, and sings wistfully of his unrequited regret for his life and love for his fiancée.
