作品「Spring -A Reflection of Nature-」
今回、「たからもの for おくりもの 2021展」に出展するにあたり、コロナ渦の現在、制限された生活が続く中、展示のタイトルにもあるように、プレゼントしたい宝物のような作品にしようと思い、一足先に春の花々を感じる作品を制作しました。「Spring -A Reflection of Nature-」は晴天下で輝きが増す花々の光が、鑑賞者にも反映されていくというテーマで制作しました。

The work of Tomoko Hokyo consists of memories of various phenomena that exist in nature and people, reconstructed on one surface, creating a new flow of time. She uses abstract expression with regularity and geometric patterns that are common in the natural and human worlds, while blurring the visual distinctions of each. Through this method, she communicates that all life consists of cells, and that humans are a component of nature.
