ある朝、メッセージが届いていた。
メキシコ・テピクに住む友人Romanからだ。
私の作品に合うのではないかと、彼が花屋で働いていた時の写真を送ってくれた。
大量の美しい花を抱え、少し照れているような彼の表情にとても癒された。
素晴らしい朝の瞬間だった。
彼は以前も私の作品のモデルになってもらったことがある。
私の作品を見てモデルに自薦してくれた。
作者と閲覧者が作品を介在して東京とテピクという約1万キロの距離を超えて繋がり共感し合う。
私のただの妄想が国境も今の時代の制約も超えて届いている現実。
私は夢のような人生を送っていたことに気づき、目が覚めてまた眠った。

Roman
One morning, I received a message.
It was from my friend "Roman", who lives in Tepic, Mexico.
He sent me a picture of him when he was working at a flower shop.
Because he thought it might fit my work.
I was so appeased to see his slightly embarrassed expression as he held a large number of beautiful flowers.
It was a wonderful morning moment.
He has been a model for my work before.
He knew my work, and he recommended himself as a model.
Through the work, the author and the viewer are connected and empathize with each other across the distance of about 10,000 kilometers between Tokyo and Tepic.
The reality is that my mere fantasy has reached beyond the borders and restrictions of the current age.
I realized that I had been living a dream-like life.
And I fell asleep again.
