Using human physicality and the accompanying concepts of time and memory as keywords, I create paintings centered primarily on line expression. To emphasize that paintings exist not merely as images but as physical matter, I incorporate diverse textures onto the canvas through materials and techniques, embodying the accumulation of time within the creative process itself—such as by layering multiple coats of thinly diluted paint.

In the Movement series, I record daily sensations drawn from my emotions and surrounding landscapes as line drawings. I then rework these drawings onto canvas, tracing the paths of past impulsive, improvisational sketches. This process presents an image where the accumulation of small human actions transforms into new time and landscapes.
