あらゆるものが取り換え可能な世界が訪れた時、崩壊する過程こそが唯一オリジナリティだと考える諫山元貴の映像シリーズ。本作品のマス目状に並ぶ一つ一つの映像は、家に飾るような置物を土によって複製し、それが水中で崩れていく様子を定点撮影したものである。ヴィデオは速度編集無く、無音の状態で再生され、それぞれのモチーフはランダムに現れては崩壊することを繰り返す。またこの作品は終わらない映像、スクリーンセーバーのように本人が気づかないうちに動いているループ映像となっている。それは装置化された映像ともいえる。装置化を経た映像作品は設備となり、都市の日常に潜ませることが出来るのではないかと考える。

Genki Isayama's video series considers that only the process of collapse to be originality when a world where everything can be replaceable come. Each image in the grid of this work is a fixed-point shot that display crumbling figurine in water which are duplicated with soil.The video is played in silence without speed editing, and each motif appears and collapses repeatedly.In addition, this work is an endless image, a loop image that moves without your knowledge, such as a screen saver. It can also be said to be a deviceized image. I think that the video work that has been converted to device will become facility and can be hidden in the daily life of the city.
