3-Draw series “DEER”

Three-dimensional pen drawing “3-Draw Series” is a life-size deer work.

Textures, irregularities, and patterns are expressed by drawing with a pen on things modeled with acrylic resin, etc.

Deer are familiar creatures to me, and even during the day at my studio in Kyoto, they would walk around in style.

The lean form and the sculptural beauty of the horns that remain after blood lines are attractive.

On the other hand, it looks adorable, but damage to crops and mountain vegetation caused by overgrown deer is significant, and it makes me think about the distance between humans and wildlife, and true symbiosis.
