Portrait of dazzle AD #293

Until now, in the “Portrait of Dazzle” series, only the “eyes” of selfies posted on SNS have been referred to, and other contours and hairstyles have been drawn using the artist's creations.
On the other hand, in this work, it was created by combining “eyes” and “faces” from selfies of different people. Although it was rejected due to the fact that portraits became too strong and production required time, experiments that went beyond the framework of the series and new approaches to portrait expression appeared there.

By establishing it as a work, we can once again take a bird's-eye view of the selection criteria — efficiency, anonymity, screen brilliance — etc. that the artist himself unknowingly applied during the production process, and an attempt to return to the essence of expression can be seen. This work, where the strength of gaze and the audacity of the composition coexist, is an important point that symbolizes a turning point in the series.
