ー小学校の頃僕は昆虫採集が好きだった。
市外の山まで車で1時間程走ったあと、
数匹の昆虫を採集し虫かごに入れ、自宅へと帰る。
まだ幼かった僕はその昆虫がオスかメスかどのような種類かも分からなかった。しかし均等に標本箱に並べられた昆虫たちを眺めている時が、
一番高揚感を感じる瞬間だった。
それから僕は大人になり、今でも作品をサンプリングに近い感覚で制作している。この空間は仮想の標本としての表出である。
During elementary school I loved to collect insects.
About an hour drive outside the city, I could collect the specimen.
I put them in a cage an brought them home. I was young, I did not know much about the insects. I could not even tell genders apart.
It was when I saw the evenly arranged the insects in the specimen box,that I felt joy and enthusiasm.
To this day, I create work that brings order to the samples.Like this space, representing virtual specimen.

1994年香川県生まれ。
2019年東京藝術大学大学院美術研究科絵画専攻版画研究領域第一研究室修了。2020年同大学院研究生修了。
2016年度三菱商事アート・ゲート・プログラム奨学生。
2017年スロバキア・ブラティスラヴァ美術大学に交換留学 (ERASMUS＋スカラシップ受領)。
2018年公益財団法人クマ財団第２期生、Art Work With Merck 2018スカラシップ受領。
