About the Association
The Contemporary Art Dealers Association Nippon (CADAN) is a non-profit organization representing contemporary art galleries in Japan. With 52 member galleries, CADAN is dedicated to strengthening the ecosystem for contemporary art by promoting public engagement, supporting the sustainable growth of the art market, fostering the international success of artists, and nurturing the next generation of art professionals.
About CADAN Otemachi
Building on the success of CADAN Yurakucho (2021–2025), CADAN Otemachi opened in October 2025 as a new platform for contemporary art in central Tokyo. Exhibitions are presented by CADAN member galleries on a rotating basis every two to three weeks, featuring artists active both in Japan and internationally.
In addition to exhibitions, CADAN Otemachi offers a diverse program of talks, events, and community gatherings, creating opportunities for audiences to encounter contemporary art, deepen their understanding, and engage in dialogue.
The project is made possible through the generous support of the Culture Vision Japan (CVJ) and Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd.
