24 galleries from across Asia gather. in Tokyo to shape the future of the photography market.

TOKYO INSTITUTE of PHOTOGRAPHY (General Incorporated Association) has announced the exhibiting galleries for “T3 PHOTO ASIA 2026,” a photography art fair dedicated to building and expanding the market for photography in Asia. The fair will be held from Saturday, October 17, until Monday, October 19, with a preview day on Friday, October 16, 2026 at TOFROM YAESU in Tokyo, and alongside exhibitors from across Asia, And a concurrent event “T3 BOOK MARCHÉ 2026,” will focus on photobooks and publishing culture.

“T3 PHOTO ASIA 2026” is an international photography art fair aims to build Asia’s leading market for photography, held during the “T3 Photo Festival Tokyo,” one of Japan’s largest urban art photo festivals.

With the mission of “creating an art photography market where galleries and artists from across Asia gather, and leading the world’s photography culture,” by generating synergies with T3 PHOTO FESTIVAL, which drew approximately 930,000 visitors last year, and to establish itself as the most influential photography art fair in Asia.

Sales during the event period have grown year by year. The number of participating galleries has also increased, from 14 in 2024 to 19 in 2025, with 24 galleries scheduled to exhibit this year.

Internationalization is also progressing: last year, the fair invited 33 special guests from overseas, some as guest speakers including Roxana Marcoci, Curator at The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), and Florian Ebner, Curator at the Centre Pompidou.
