Work Details
Artwork Concept
This artwork explores the quiet strength and inner energy of a horse in motion. Through flowing gold lines layered across a deep black surface, the piece captures not only the physical form of the horse, but also its spirit, discipline, and momentum. The pale ground beneath suggests snow, silence, and endurance, creating a contrast between stillness and movement.
For me, the horse represents resilience, elegance, and the invisible force that carries us forward. The repeated gold lines move like veins, wind, or traces of energy, revealing the unseen rhythm within the body. This work reflects my ongoing interest in movement, transformation, and the hidden power that exists beneath the surface.

福田佑理子は、英国で育った日本人現代アーティストです。動き、エネルギー、そして形の奥に存在する目に見えないリズムを探求する、独自の金線表現で知られています。ファインアート、彫刻、テキスタイル、パフォーマンス、乗馬、ポロの経験を背景に、優雅で流れるような線を通して躍動感を表現しています。近年の主な実績には、CBRE Japan東京本社のための大型常設コミッション、Ferrari Japan K.K.のためのプライベートコミッション、MAISON de SABRÉとのコラボレーション、国立新美術館での展覧会参加などがあります。
