Oreの友達のMuzukaというキャラクターです。

賢いけれど、臆病で失敗を恐れる性格。

色んな事を知れば知るほど動けなくなると感じていた時期がありました。

今はインターネットでも沢山の情報を集めることが出来ます。

当然、情報の中にはリスクやネガティブな情報も含まれ、そういった情報がインパクトを持って入ってくる事も多々あります。

防衛本能も重要な機能ですが、自分の判断基準や軸を持って情報を取捨選択する力もとても大事なのかなあと思います。

SNSなどのでも多くの情報が手に入るので"知っている"ことが本当に増えました。

しかし、感性や能力は人それぞれなので、判断基準や軸は自分とは異なる場合があります。

制作をしていて思うことは、情報にも食べ物と同じ様に質があるなあという事です。

実体験から得た情報は手間暇かけて育てられた食物の様に、質、濃度、厚みに違いがあるように感じます。

難しいなあと感じる領域での行動は、失敗する事もあります。でも、それも含めて大きな成長を与えてくれるチャンスだと感じています。

This is a character named Muzuka, a friend of Ore.

Nowadays, you can gather a lot of information on the Internet.

Naturally, some of the information is risky and negative, and this information often has an impact on us.

While defense instinct is an important function, I think it is also very important to be able to discern and select information based on one's own criteria and axis.

There is so much information available on SNS that the number of things we "know" has really increased.

However, each person has their own sensibilities and abilities, so the criteria and axes of judgment may be different from yours.

As I create the artworks, I think that information has its own quality, just like food.

I feel that information obtained through actual experience has a different quality, density, and thickness, just like food that has been grown with a lot of time and effort.

There are times when we fail to act in areas that we feel are difficult. However, I feel that this is an opportunity that will give me great growth. (Difficult is also called “Muzukashii” in Japanese)

Orecho=オレチョとは？

本多 孝男による複数の作品シリーズをシンボル化、融合することで誕生したキャラクター。

「オレチョ」は作家の自己を投影した表現者として作品に登場している。名前の由来は"己"を"超"えるより。

The character was born by symbolizing and fusing multiple series of artworks by Takao Honda.

"Orecho" is appeared in artworks as an expresser who projects himself.

The origin of the name comes from "I want always overcome myself". In Japanese mean Ore=myself, cho=overcome.
