Face 08 楽しい気持ち | Fun feeling

顔のシリーズ作品。

色の数、基本となる顔の図案を大まかに決め、その時々で感じている自分の気持ちを題材にして描いていった作品です。

この作品はF50 sizeで顔のシリーズでは最大サイズです。

初めての大きさの作品だったので、それまでと勝手が違い、沢山試行錯誤がありました。

小さな事ですが、これまで無理だと思い込んでいたいくつかの事が乗り越えられました。

苦労は多かったですが、完成したときはえも言われぬ楽しい気持ちになれました。

Artwork series of face.

This artwork series is painted restrict on the basic face design and number of colors. And these were subjects about things felt in my mind day and day.

This work is F50 size, the largest size in the face series.

At that time, I did draw first a piece of this size, it was different from before and there was a lot of trial and error.

It was a small thing, but I was able to overcome some things that I thought were impossible.

When the artwork was completed, I became at "Fun feeling" as its name suggests.

この作品と対になっている同サイズの作品「Face 09 積み重ねる」、

「楽しい気持ち」を持ちつつ、努力を惜しまず「積み重ねていく」事が理想に近づく道だと感じています。

This piece is paired with the same size piece "Face 09 Pile up".

I feel that while having "Fun feeling" make efforts "Pile up" thing is the way to the ideal.

Orecho=オレチョとは？

本多 孝男による複数の作品シリーズをシンボル化、融合することで誕生したキャラクター。

「オレチョ」は作家の自己を投影した表現者として作品に登場している。名前の由来は"己"を"超"えるより。

What is Orecho?

The character was born by symbolizing and fusing multiple series of artworks by Takao Honda.

"Orecho" is appeared in artworks as an expresser who projects himself.

The origin of the name comes from "I want always overcome myself". In Japanese mean Ore=myself, cho=overcome.
