Octopus boy Jacopo. Who are you? Are you me? If I am you. who are you? If you are me, who am I?
I tried to translate my favorite Japanese poem into English. It’s not easy at all. It’s hard to express the delicate meaning in different language..
Jacopo, you are like octopus, you want to be your-yura…your dream is catching a big wave in NY. You will swim in waves to waves. You will go over the waves.
タコっぽいポーズの男はモデルのヤコポです。あなたは誰？あなたは私？もしも私があなただったら、私は誰でしょう？
私の大好きな日本の詩を英語に一生懸命訳そうとしましたが、上手くいかない。日本語の大切なニュアンスが上手く他の言語に訳せない。
ヤコポ、あなたはタコみたい。ユラユラ生きて。NYで夢を叶える為にあっちの波に乗り、こっちの波に乗り。きっと大きい波を超えて違う世界を見るんだろうな。
