Work Details
Right now, what I see in front of me seems like everything in the world, and I feel hopeless and relieved by cutting out only my surroundings. When I take a step back and look at the situation, I feel that the difficulties or peace are very modest.
The motif is drawn by coloring cotton cloth with acrylic paint and partially stitched with thread. The physically raised thread has a strong presence and draws attention as if the camera were in focus.

過去の記憶の断片や、その断片から想像するまだ見ぬ未来の景色を描く。時間の経過や積み重ねられる経験によって徐々に変化し曖昧になる記憶の輪郭を見つめ新しい色や形を与え直し、その像を定着させるように刺繍を施している。
