私は毎日撮影できるものを求めていた時に、この作品を思いつきました。色々な意味で、制限のあるこの時間を収めること。また、この時間と場所は、日本独特の文化であることも大事でした。平常時に行なっていたことが、急に尊い感覚になるのを経験するたびに、繰り返しではない毎日を痛感する。なんでもない営みの中に楽しみを見出して、笑っていきたいものです。
