Overview

The Artizon Museum offers cutting-edge cultural experiences in the heart of central Tokyo. Originally known as the Bridgestone Museum of Art, the museum was established in 1952 to house the collection of its founder, Shojiro Ishibashi. Now numbering some 3,000 artworks, the encyclopedic collection is grounded in businessman and philanthropist Shojiro Ishibashi’s personal holdings, spanning from Impressionist masterpieces to Japanese Western-style paintings, and from antiquities to contemporary art.

5 minutes on foot from JR Tokyo Station (Yaesu Central Exit); Tokyo Metro Ginza Line Kyobashi Station (No.6, 7 Exit); Tokyo Metro Ginza Line, Tozai Line, Toei Asakusa Line Nihombashi Station (B1 Exit)

* Museum Tower Kyobashi has a bicycle parking area located at the east side of the building. Continue along Yaesu-dori Street from the side of the art museum’s entrance, and go around the back of the building. (12 bicycle lots, 100 yen per 2 hours)
The art museum does not have a carpark. Please use nearby paid parking areas.

Admission Fee / Viewing Fee

Tickets to Artizon Museum are reservation-based with a specified date and time. Tickets can also be bought on the day itself, but we ask that you purchase an online reservation ticket before visiting the museum.
