KAIKA Tokyo by THE SHARE HOTELS is widely known as a unique accommodation that blends art storage with a hotel. On April 10, 2021, we proudly opened a new commercial gallery, "GALLERY ROOM・A," within "STORAGE 1" on the first floor.

The gallery is planned and operated by the art communication platform "ArtSticker." Located on the ground floor facing the building’s entrance, it serves as an open space accessible not only to hotel guests but also to the general public.

Moving beyond traditional solo exhibitions and art sales, the gallery aims to be a hub for experiencing art through diverse interpretations. This will be achieved through exhibition projects within hotel guest rooms, workshops that embrace local character, specialized stay programs, and talk events.

How do artists create their work? What kind of effect does the work have for us? Just like products have usefulness, let's explore the unknown use-value of art.

At GALLERY ROOM A, through viewing and purchasing works, dialogue with artists, and lodging programs, we open up the possibility of healing people at times like a clinic, and at other times becoming a place of learning like an academy.
