Christos Mavrodis (b.1995) is an audio-visual artist born in Greece, and currently based in the Netherlands.
My artistic practice is a reflection of the complexities of modern life, where the lines between reality and fantasy are often blurred. Using various mediums such as ink drawings, film, and installation, I delve into themes of happiness, memory, and mortality. My creative process is one that values spontaneity and intuition, allowing each piece to emerge organically through experimentation and exploration. Drawing inspiration from a range of sources including fairy tales, surrealist art, and existentialist literature, I am driven by an innate fascination with the human condition and our search for meaning in an uncertain world. Through my work, I hope to inspire a sense of reflection and introspection, encouraging viewers to engage with the fundamental questions of existence and the mysteries of the human experience.
